Student Company has established since September 2005. It was shaded by Junior Achievement, based in Colorado, United States. Starting from the Junior Achievement which creates a branch in Indonesia under the name Prestasi Junior Indonesia (PJI), PJI decided to create a student company for junior high school at the Madrasah Pembangunan UIN Jakarta as the first junior high schools which have Student Company throughout Indonesia.
Student Company is a company run by students themselves. Student Company in Madrasah Pembangunan Junior High School has been running for six periods with a company name "EMPIRE", which stands for " Export Import Indonesian Revolution."
